Stop 2: Page, Arizona

This was a specific request of mine to stop in Page, home of Horseshoe Bend & Antelope Canyon. It did not disappoint! 

Found out on Facebook that it was National Nobilo Day (whatever that means), so we grabbed a glass and toasted our Nobilo on the red rocks

As Sue cooked dinner, Mark & I drove the few miles down the road to see Horseshoe Bend, quickly chasing the last of the sunset. It was breathtaking, and one of my favorite memories with my dad from the trip.

The next morning we woke up at the crack of dawn to catch the first tour of the day at Antelope Canyon—a tip someone shared with us to avoid the bottle-necking of crowds that happens later in the day.

We made a second stop at Horseshoe Bend on the way out, knowing that my mom would absolutely love it. It was a bit sunnier the second time around, bringing out a whole new set of colors on the landscape.
